From the Parents...

Here are three examples of the many letters that we have received at Wake Up (reprinted with kind permission)

"Ben and I have been coming to 'Wake Up' for over a year now and we thought it was about time we said thanks. I had an 18 month old baby boy and wanted something more than other groups were offering. I just didn't know exactly what!

I was introduced to you at one of your open sessions at the Michael Herbert Hall. Wow what fun! Your energy, enthusiasm and original ideas bowled me over. No other group I had seen or heard about had even come close. We signed up straight away.

We have both had a huge amount of fun during the hour with you each week, but in addition I have taken some great ideas away with me to try out at home. (That way my husband doesn't feel completely left out.)

I can honestly say, and have told my friends, that if I could only do one activity with Ben each week it would definitely be 'Wake Up'.

Ben is now coming up to 3 years of age and we continue to really enjoy it. We have both made some great friends and your energy and enthusiasm continues to be catching. 

Please don't stop the great ideas, music, themes and equipment coming. We love it. Thank you."

"I took Beatrice to Wake Up for the first time during her normal naptime. She had a wonderful time and it was so busy that I expected her to fall asleep the moment I got her in the car to go home. Instead, she spent the half-hour journey laughing and singing. She was still talking about the bouncy castle when she woke up the next morning. We can't wait to come again!"

'Wake Up'- What an appropriate name! It wakes up the parents and gives the children the happiest time possible. The sessions 'Building', Firefighters' and the 'Pet Show' put a smile on your face. 'Noah's Ark', 'Bug Ball' and 'Safari' take you to the animal world and in another week, you get a sparkle theme, which everyone loves!

Without doubt, toddlers spring cleaning the toys to the music is a sight to see and the pleasure that they receive from the Easter Special treasure hunt is amazing. Katie is fantastic and energetic, dynamic and very likeable to all the toddlers and their parents.

I am a grandmother and I have enjoyed every session that I have attended with my grandchild. I have seen excitement and joy in the parents and toddlers eyes during and at the end of each session.
